Professed Christianity – The Goat who Thought he was a Sheep

We live in a world today where everything is at your fingertips, and you can have anything you basically want, or you can be anything you desire to be, even the vast majority of the emerging population who live in fantasyland and think their reality is in the clouds and will one day live forever with consciousness or the merging with machines. The strange as well as the cruel live among us, as well as the fakes and frauds; there are many faces and identities that we encounter with all the multiple personalities as well.

But today we will take a soul-damning look at the goat who thought he was a sheep, the self-deceived professed Christian who’s never born again. Though this goat goes to endless services and church meetings and outings and even helps out as much as possible, the heart is still pitch black with an unredeemed nature, and still a child of the devil. The religious credentials of service and seeking knowledge about Christ, and not knowing him personally by reporting towards God and placing one’s faith in Christ alone for the salvation of the soul. These types are all work and no reward; they endlessly tire themselves to no profit.

Just like the child who was born into a rich family, where his brother ran off and did all sorts of evil, but repented, came back, and was renewed. He was truly saved, while the other brother tried to work himself right with his father, the way of Cain is right in his own eyes. God has not hidden from us the path to salvation, which is Himself.

We see a society of church goers who know biblical stories, but their lives reflect they have never met the King Jesus. Their lives are entrenched with paganism, idolatry, religious rituals, services, and activities, but never a life emerged with God and the fruit of His love pouring out to others. Everything is a duty and not a devotion, a have to and not a love to, the sheep has a new nature, it produces the eternal fruit that comes forth from the heart of God.

There are a lot on the broad path, the highway of hell who think they are right with God but entangled in a death grip of religious harlotry, so many think they have a fire insurance policy from hell, but will hear the words from Christ’s Holy mouth: “Depart from me you workers of iniquity, I have never known you”, some of these are the ones always talking about religion and say “Lord, Lord”, they are even well marked out leaders in society as well as church, and some your own family, but are just goats who only fooled a few and themselves, while the sheep that’s right with God sees the clear deception of the flock of goats who disguise themselves as sheep, the devils religious servants who will find a rude awakening upon death, as they receive an eternal torment in hell for rejecting Christ’s sacrifice alone.
